The Hori Sciences and Arts Foundation (formerly the Hori Information Science Promotion Foundation) is a non-profit organization established in 1991 through the personal financial support of Makoto Hori, founder of the Daitec Group.
The mission of the group is to contribute to society.
The foundation was started to engage in research support activities to actively support researchers in information science and to help with the vigorous development of local society.
Since then, we have expanded our research support activities to include foreign researchers in order to make an international contribution.
On September 1, 2010, the foundation was designated a "public interest incorporated association", and we changed our name to the Hori Sciences and Arts Foundation, expanding our scope to supporting cultural and artistic activities as well.
We also operate a museum and give young artists a place to exhibit their work and support their creative activities.
We hope we can receive your continued support.
