We held our second Biennale as described below. Our third Biennale will have even more features.
Held once every two years, the "D-Art Biennale" is an opportunity for young artists engaged in creating art in Japan to exhibit their work. In 2014, we plan to hold third Biennale.
The first Biennale was held in March 2009, and 3615 visitors came to it over 7 days. The second Biennale was held in November 2011. Out of the applicants 40 people were selected and their work was displayed in the "D-Art Biennale".
The six winners were sent to Beijing in December 2011, where they met art-related people on the global cutting edge. The six also held a group exhibition at the Y++ Gallery in San Li Tun Lu, Chao Yang Qu, Beijing.
